Economic dimensions of the European integration

The working group focuses on the impact of the common market and the common currency on regional levels and structures of employment, on wage and investment policies and on regulations in labour markets and financial systems.

The working group focuses on the emergence, influence and interaction of different modes of governance (joint regulation via common legal rules, mutual recognition of national regulations, “negative integration” by economic externalities, redistribution and “softer”, more participative forms of policy coordination).
